Laboratory Bodimed presents the new ELISA test for allergies – Alex2, which allows the simultaneous measurement in a blood sample of allergen-specific IgE (sIgE) and total IgE (tIgE) antibodies.

IgE antibodies have a role in the development of a rapid type of allergy. During an allergic reaction caused by various allergens (eg pollen, mite particles, etc.), symptoms such as itching and redness of the eyes, runny nose, skin rash, asthma, gastrointestinal complaints or, in rare cases, life-threatening reactions (anaphylactic shock). Allergies most often appear in early childhood. The Alex2 test detects the presence of specific IgE antibodies to all major types of allergens (without drug allergens)
